They had been there for nearly four hours. The two were waiting for the registrar to let them in. The Joltik, sitting on her companion’s head, was quick to voice her opinions.
“Come on, Joro! This is ridiculous! We’ve been waiting for far too long. I say we knock down the house.”
“Lyn, to upset an authoritarian is to walk into a dragon’s den. It is better to announce presence without pretense.” Having said that, Joro approached the door of the registrar’s house, being sure to guard a leaf-wrapped package in his arms from the rain.
“What are you gonna do? Yell? I’ll do it. You know how I get when I’m drenched.” Lyn shook herself, but it did little to dry her off.

From what they could get from the panicked villagers, the blizzard was the result of an angry Kyurem named Sorbet. Then, a rushed Zangoose had recruited them to go and fight. Joro made his way through the snow to a place outside the nearby forest. Lyn rode along on his head. The Zangoose was explaining the situation to newcomers.
"All right, Sorbet's upset," the Zangoose said. "We need to make sure that he's not around during the evacuation. Weaken him, but don't go near Merlot's place. Right, let's get going."
"What? Really? That's all we get?" Lyn exclaimed, but the Zangoose had moved into the Forest.
"Dmitri's a bit anxious," said a nearby Snivy. "He's got a lot riding on this mission."
"Eh? Who're you?" Lyn asked.
"Darcy. I'm a local merc
